Claramount Inn, Picton. This is another great Inn and restaurant with a very creative Chef Lyndon B Johnston. He's been preparing fine food in the Prince Edward County area for over 20 years and before Clara's was Chef at Currah's Cafe. The Claramount Inn is an old Colonial Revival Mansion facing Picton Bay. It has a huge wrap around veranda where in the summer you can enjoy a glass of wine and great food while watching the sunset on the Bay. In fact the property extends all the way down to the water and guests are invited to stroll the grounds.
Below is another appetizer....grilled shrimp and smoked trout over a bed of baby arugula.
